We do our absolute best to carefully package your order and make every effort to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Of course, because of the postal system, it is normal for the external packaging we ship in to show some wear and tear, but if any damage has occurred to the product(s) inside, please contact us and we will help you to resolve the problem!
In accordance with our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 we are happy to make a full refund to you, if your product(s) are proven to be faulty. In the unlikely event this may be the case, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your products at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is really important to us that you are happy with your products.
In the first instance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you would like to discuss your product(s) and their suitability for your skin, or the way you use them. We might be able to make some suggestions to help, if you are having trouble.
If within 14 days of receiving your Dark Heart product(s) you are still not happy with them, you can return them us for a full refund (minus shipping costs). Please email us at email@example.com and we will give you the address to post them back to. All postage for any returns will be at your cost. Please make sure that any returns are well-packaged. We recommend using a tracked method of return delivery, as we are unable to accept responsibility for lost return parcels.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale or discounted items cannot be refunded.

[For all tracked orders, once we have dispatched your products, we will email you with a tracking number! You can then track your order using the link in the email.
Unfortunately, for New Zealand wider orders, we don’t ship to PO Boxes. Because we use tracked courier and require a signature to ensure your package gets to you safe and sound, we require a physical delivery address.
Please be aware that orders shipping to countries other than New Zealand and Australia may be subject to import duty or other customs taxes.
Any customs or import duties are charged once the order reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the order. We will not refund your order if you do not want to pay for the customs or import duties. Customs policies vary widely from country to country – we recommend that you contact your local customs office for further information. Where customs charges are due, this may impact the time it takes your parcel to reach you.
ARE THERE ANY CHEMCIALS IN DARK HEART PRODUCTS?
Absolutely not. We are proud to say that our products are absolutely preservative free, they don’t contain any chemicals or fillers.
IS THERE A CHANCE I MAY HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO MY DARK HEART PRODUCTS?
Allergic reactions to our products are very rare, because they contain only natural ingredients. We pride ourselves creating gentle products. However allergies vary for each individual and can arise from the use of a variety of different ingredients. We always recommend patch testing before use if your skin is particularly allergy prone or sensitive.
If you do think you have had an allergic reaction from using one of our products, stop using it immediately and get in touch with us! Hopefully we can help you get to the bottom of it!
DO YOU TEST PRODUCTS ON ANIMALS?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! We believe it is humane to test on humans rather than on animals.

OILS ARE SUPERIOR & ACTIVE
Majority of creams on the market, are composed of 90% wax and water. They usually contain a lengthy list of ingredients that most humans cannot pronounce let alone comprehend. The remaining 10% of the product is composed of oil – the active and beneficial ingredient(s) in the product.
Our DARK HEART® Beard & Skincare products are composed of blended botanical oils and are therefore active and nutrient dense. No fillers or nasties.
OILS ARE BIOAVAILABLE INGREDIENTS
Because oils are very close in their chemical composition to the skin’s natural sebum, our skin responds well to the application of oils. They are what it knows, and therefore the skins internal mechanisms can distribute the moisture and nutrients we apply, to the areas that need it most.
OILS ARE THE BEST SOURCE OF HYDRATION FOR THE SKIN
The key to a youthful glow is keeping the skin hydrated. Often fine lines are formed because the skin dries out. As we have already detailed, because most standard creams and beauty products contain only a very small percentage of oil, they don’t hydrate our skin enough. Oils are lipoholic. This means they love fats, and therefore they pass through and are absorbed by the lipid or fat layer of the skin faster, preventing water loss and plumping the skin with the moisture it needs.
OILS ARE PACKED WITH RICH ANTIOXIDANTS
Many of the oils contained in our products are powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the skin by limiting the production of free radicals which can cause severe damage to skin cells. Free radicals are healthy cells which deteriorate as a result of molecular instability, also known as oxidation. This instability is brought about by the introduction of stress, illness, environmental toxins and insufficient dietary nutrients. In an effort to regain stability the free radicals seek out and steal electrons from stable cells, leaving that cell seriously damaged. This results in the appearance of wrinkles and the breakdown of the skin’s collagen.
